Historical Weather Data
The Hellenic National Meteorological Service has supplied the following historical wind data.
There are two files with tables of wind direction-speed frequencies per month, from the two weather stations nearest the course area. These are the Helleniko airport station and the Piraeus station. For the Helleniko airport station, the data covers the period from January 1st 1955 to November 30th 2018. The data from the Piraeus station covers the period from January 1st 1956 to June 30th 2010, when it was taken out of service.
There is, also, one file with wind direction and speed observations, from the Helleniko airport station, recorded every 3 hours, along with the maximum speed in this 3-hour period. Data are provided for the months of June and July between the years 2014 and 2018.
